This standardized extract contains 0.3% betanin, one of the betalain pigments that give the garden beet its red color. Beet root is a rich source of vitamins and minerals, and also one of the richest sources of glutamine, an amino, essential to the health and maintenance of the intestinal tract. Certain research publications indicate that beet root may help support the following: Supports healthy blood pressure level. Supports healthy cholesterol level.
