Dihydromyricetin is extracted from the hovenia dulcis tree. Studies have shown that it helps reduce feelings of intoxication and prevent hangovers by both improving the liver's ability to metabolize alcohol and by blocking alcohol from affecting the brain's GABA receptors.

Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions

Suggested Use: To help prevent hangovers or reduce feelings of intoxication, take one or two capsules per three alcoholic drinks consumed before going to bed, ideally with a glass of water. To help reduce feelings of intoxication, take one or two capsules before you begin drinking, and one or two capsules every three drinks thereafter.
