Black Elderberry has numerous positive studies for its antibacterial and antiviral activity. It was found to be active against human pathogenic bacteria as well as influenza viruses. Organic ElderMune was chosen for its higher potency (65:1), and superior processing/testing methods. Sunfiber is blended to replace the fiber that is lost in the elderberry juicing process. It also supplies the prebiotic and postbiotic functions, supporting the production of short chain fatty acids acetate, propionate, and butyrate. These help restore the epithelial lining, in the intestines.
