Formula re: Contains

Ferrous Sulfate 220 mg for the treatment of iron deficiency and iron-deficiency anemia Each teaspoonful contains 220 mg Ferrous Sulfate, providing approximately 44 mg of elemental iron.

Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions

Directions: Adults and children 12 years and over, take one (1) teaspoon daily with or after a meal as a dietary supplement, or as directed by your physician. Children under 12, consult a physician. Mix with water or juice to avoid temporary staining of teeth. Do not mix with milk or wine-based vehicles.

Caution: Do not exceed recommended dosage. The treatment of any anemic condition should be under the advice and supervision of a physician.

Since oral iron products interfere with absorption of oral tetracycline antibiotics, these products should not be taken within two (2) hours of each other. If you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek professional advice before using this product.

This product may occasionally cause constipation, diarrhea or may color stool black. It may cause gastrointestinal discomfort (such as nausea) which may be minimized by taking with meals. Liquids may cause temporary staining of the teeth (this is less likely when diluted).
