It contains four key ingredients to support healthy liver function and protection. NAC (N-Acetylcysteine) serves as a precursor for the synthesis of glutathione, a detoxifying agent in the body. Alpha-Lipoic Acid is a powerful antioxidant and free-radical scavenger which plays an important role in preventing cell damage and helps the body rid itself of harmful substances. Silymarin (standardized extract from milk thistle) is known for its documented hepatoprotective properties and is able to neutralize the hepatotoxicity produced by a number of common toxins. Selenium is a trace mineral known to support the antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase.
