Garcinia cambogia is a type of fruit native to Indonesia, Asia, and Africa. Traditionally, it has been used to make different foods, such as curry and soup and to make meals more filling. An active constituent of the fruit, HCA (hydroxycitric acid), is believed to have beneficial effects on appetite and weight management.
