Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions

Recommended Use: As a dietary supplement, take one to three capsules daily, preferably with meals.

Research shows that fluoride might decrease serum free T-3 and T-4 levels. One study found that a higher consumption of food from the sea and a higher dietary iodine intake are significantly associated with a decreased risk of thyroid cancer. Also, low selenium status correlates with risk of goiter (thyroid swelling and dysfunction). Furthermore, tyrosine is needed for a normal thyroid hormone function. Optimal thyroid function is also key to optimal metabolism. Persons with an under active thyroid are often overweight and have trouble maintaining ideal weight. Thyrovex contains iodine, L-tyrosine, special amino acid chelated selenium and the novel 3,5' Diiodo-L-Thyronine.
