General Statements: All Other Content

Aloe Vera is a type of plant native to southern Africa and found in abundance near the Cape of Good Hope. Aloe is mentioned throughout history. Images of aloe plants were painted or carved on some Egyptian temples and the Greek physician Dioscorides recorded its use in traditional medicine thousands of years ago. Today, Aloe Vera is primarily grown in the U.S. in Texas. Aloe Vera Gels are a 200:1 concentrate equivalent to 5000 mg of this well-known botanical.
